Project Manager

Mandatory Qualifications:

A minimum of five years project management experience within the last ten years, including broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four years of that experience must have been as a Senior PM of projects of the same or greater size and complexity of the UPMSR Project.

A minimum of two years’ experience within the last ten years providing project management for assessment of business, technical, and enterprise architecture artifacts, tools, and environments, in accordance with Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Standards [IEEE-STD 610 & IEEE-STD 1012].

A Bachelor’s Degree (provide a copy of the degree to verify). Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Four years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the Experience requirement is five years, and the individual is substituting four years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a total of nine years of experience is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Has a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), provide copy to verify. The certification cannot be substituted.
  • Provided IV&V services for a project of the same or greater size and complexity of the UPMSR Project that was reportable to the CDT and had to meet requirements as identified by the SIMM Section 45 (California Information Technology Oversight Framework). Examples of documentation completed by the Project Manager according to the requirements in SIMM Section 45 must be provided to verify.
