Technical Writer

Mandatory Qualifications: 

  • Two (2) years of experience performing IT technical writing. Experience can include being in a position as a specialist or research assistant in a technical field.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Five (5) years of experience researching, developing, editing, and reviewing technical documents for software, hardware, technical procedures, and computer related services, and performing document management and version control processes.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Office products using advanced principal features of Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Two (2) years of experience performing IT technical writing including online help, design specifications, manuals, test plans, and how-to-guides. Experience can include being in a position as a specialist or research assistant in a technical field.
