Responsibilities:
The Consultant shall work on the architect, design, and development of electronic forms and associated workflow processes.
The Consultant shall perform all of the following:
- Build electronic forms and associated workflows using newly selected BPM technologies, hosted in the cloud. The newly selected BPM software primarily includes Nintex but may also include a custom application.
- Design and build forms with layouts and intuitive UI.
- Integrate with other systems using JavaScript, Azure API, and other integration modules.
- Build forms to communicate to Azure SQL and reduce the dependency on SharePoint Online (SPO).
- Build new forms based on the customer requirements.
- Build workflows, related work queue functionalities, and screens for forms applications.
- Follow ISD standards and industry’s best practices of consistent modern UI to build the forms and workflows.
- Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirement gathering, architecture, design, develop, testing, UAT, and deployment. Currently, ISD is using Agile for this and the consultant will participate in team stand-up meetings and the use of electronic boards to track tasks/work.
- Provide go-live and post-production support on multiple applications as they go live.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to staff.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and be the technical expert in the domain.
- Prepare and submit a Weekly Status Report stating the progress of the technical services assigned by the County’s Project Manager or designee. To be included in the report are the following:
- The time period covered by the report.
- Overview of the reporting period.
- Tasks, assignments, and other work items for the reporting period are:
– Completed. – Not Completed. – Not Scheduled. – Scheduled for the next reporting period
- List issue(s) resolved and/or issue(s) to be resolved.
- Summary of project status as of reporting date.
Required Skills:
The Consultant must meet all of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Copy of degree must be included.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in designing business processes using BPM designer tools.
- Two (2) years of experience within last five (5) years in designing electronic forms using form/BPM designer tools: Nintex, and/or another tool.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in designing Forms and layout.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in implement solutions with multiple data sources (e.g., MS Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle Databases).
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in SharePoint Designer.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in API or rest services integrations.
- Five (5) years of experience in object-oriented programming using Java, PowerShell, or .NET.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in designing User Interface/User Experience.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in project management.
- Two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in leading a technical project team
